Meet Raye Patrice
Raye Patrice is a Transformational Business Strategist and the founder of The Entrepreneurial Soft Life™. She works with established women business owners and leaders to examine and evolve how they think, lead, decide, build, and operate with greater self-awareness, agency, intention, structure, and Soft Power. With a background in leadership, business strategy, and the legal field, Raye brings a business-first perspective to everything she teaches.
Professional Background
Raye Patrice brings together decades of business experience, operational leadership, and a deep understanding of what it takes to build, lead, and make decisions in real-world business environments.
Raye opened her first business at 23 and has spent more than 30 years helping others build businesses, advising business owners, and providing insight around the decisions, challenges, and opportunities that come with entrepreneurship. What began naturally, as people sought her perspective and business insight, eventually became a professional path of its own.
Her background also includes more than 20 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, and production environments, giving her firsthand understanding of leadership and operations in workplaces where people, processes, productivity, expectations, and results all have to work together.
That experience has shaped the way she approaches leadership today. For Raye, leadership is not only about achieving business outcomes. It is also about understanding the impact your decisions, behaviors, communication, and use of authority can have on the people who experience your leadership.
As a successful business owner herself, Raye understands entrepreneurship from both sides: the strategy required to build the business and the growth that can be required of the person leading it.
She holds a degree in the legal field.

Raye created The Entrepreneurial Soft Life™ with successful Black women business owners in mind. Women who have already built, led, achieved, carried responsibility, and proven they know how to make things happen. For many Black women, strength has been expected long before softness was something we were encouraged to consider.
Her work starts from a simple belief: business can reveal patterns it did not create. How a woman leads, decides, delegates, and sets boundaries is shaped by what she has lived and what she came to believe about success and responsibility. That is why Raye's work brings mindset, self-awareness, structure, boundaries, and intentional decision-making into the same conversation as strategy.
Raye believes strength and softness can coexist. Softness belongs to us, too.
